Are the classes really free?
All of our classes are completely free of charge. We believe education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial situation. However, depending on the course, some materials—such as books or official exam fees—may need to be covered by the student.
What do I need to bring to class?
Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn! We provide all necessary materials. For computer classes, we have computers available for student use.
Do I need to speak English to join?
No! Our ESL classes start with absolute beginners. For other programs, we have multilingual staff who can help with orientation in several languages.
How long do the programs last?
Program lengths vary. ESL has ongoing classes you can attend as long as needed. GED prep typically takes 3-6 months. Citizenship is 8-12 weeks. Computer skills are 6-8 weeks.
